the dogs bark and bare teeth.
sweat laced with fear drips
to dirt. jumping and pawing,
frothing and fuming, they wait
for the cloth to give - dancing
like a marionette in the hands
of a careless child. gravity does
its dirty work as canines fulfill
biological function
