It always starts out simply
but becomes almost immediately
complicated when you add
a second person to the equation.
There is always some manner
of misunderstanding
that is bound to leave
hurt feelings as the
collateral damage of
action.
There is no fault
with wanting company.
It's so beautiful
at the start
and turns
so dark
so often
that some of us
cease to be surprised
when things begin to change.
