The God Question

When was the last time you asked God for anything?

What did He say?

Did He give you the cold shoulder?

How can a shoulder be cold if attached to something living?

God, I hope you're not angry

but I've not been good

though I most certainly try.

How could you make me so imperfect?

What does that say about you? Our relationship?

I am not here to criticize.

I just want you to know how I feel.

How often have you felt disappointment in us

your children?

It's ok to feel like this whatever that feeling may be.

We have missed you.

It it true? I don't know.
