Celestial Bodies
The Sun and the Moon are two fully
separate beings, yet
we speak of them as being
related like siblings,
cousins, or
lovers.
How funny it would
indeed be
were they all three.
Do they speak of us
in the same way?
Are we paired off
with the Moon?
The Sun?
Perhaps neither thinks
us worthy.
Instead they might have us
paired off with Venus,
maybe Mars.
And forget the Stars. No one
can ever get an answer from them.
