Realistic Expectations

I will have to settle
for a piece of the sky.
It is much too cumbersome
to attempt to contain
it in my room. This small
piece I found on the ground
will be enough. Most people
never even get to see
a piece of it fallen to ground.

Perhaps

once we have fallen 

we can look up 

and see how vast 

and beautiful 

the sky truly is.
