where do the answers abound
everywhere we look

What questions must be asked
What answers should be given
How should we move through
this life of ghosts?
This soul is burning
What lit the flame
How long will it burn?

Answers

We know what the answers are 
to that we have been searching for
We only lack the strength 
to follow through on them

Answers are useless without 
knowing the right question. 

casual hope

I find myself waiting

and it is a foolish thing to do.

Every moment is one deeper

into night,

it's promises of sleep,

made and broken,

to everyone

at some time.

Any answer

would be fine,

but I don't expect any

at this hour.

Needless thinking,

needless waiting,

a futile hope,

one that will never

learn any better.

Mistakes are the answers to questions you didn't ask.
