I cannot remember most of my life
even though I lived it.
Memories have been relegated
to the dusty storage units
in the far corners of my mind.
Why must my mind have corners
when my mind resides in the
curved confines of my skull?
Perhaps memories bounce around
until they touch the appropriate lobe
when they are needed. I still can't
remember most of my life,
but up to now, that hasn't been
much of a problem.
