In this Moment

It's too easy to be lost in the minutiae.
Pull back and look around
for just a moment

I wonder from time to time
about the paths I considered as a younger man
I recall the desire to explore the possibilities
of joining the priesthood
when I was in junior high

Sitting at my desk writing
Listening to the worship music of
Turiyasangitananda
and eating a chocolate covered wafer

The stanzas are barely stanzas
and I don't care

What matters is now
Me here with myself
You here with me

This is how it will always be
It is how it has always been

All moments existing at once
