It's A Long Way To The Beach

There is a certain kind of silence

late at night that most will never

know. The sound of bodies resting,

breathing at a relaxed pace which

their normal lives exceed. You can

hear the cats copulating in the alley

much to the nuisance of those drunk

and trying to get some sleep. By the

beach, if one stills the mind and body,

you can hear the water gently lapping

the sand like a lover nestled between

thighs tightening in late night rapture.

Cars pass by intermittently as restless

minds stay up wondering about the

sounds of the restless city by the beach.
