His 3rd Birthday
It is hard to believe
three years could go by so quick.
Seeing you change
from such a helpless baby
into such a curious
and adventuresome
child has been
one of the most wonderful
things in my life.
You sleep now
as I ready myself
for a long day and night
ahead. I wish I could spend
it with you
and not with the tasks
of my daily life.
