Those Who Watch

The angels are watching and listening
You don't think
You don't worry about
much because of this
You wonder what they think
as they look upon us
and see what we do
and how we treat one another
Do they judge us harshly
for our inhumanity
to one another
or do they leave
the judging
to another divine being
They do not speak to us
but they are watching
or so some would
have us believe
I'll not worry
about any of this
I have a life to lead
and so does
everyone
