make the mark then move

i don't feel my age
as advanced
or young
as it may be.
i am still sorting
through life
and all its
offerings.
i hope to do so
for much
much longer.
the desire
to learn
to absorb has always been there,
will always be there.
i can only hope
for more years
to take
more and more
in.

we may be
relative strangers
but that is not
to say
that we will not
grow close
as time
and experiences
are shared
between us.
